I am a forgetful person.
If you're a friend reading this you probably just went into cardiac arrest. Yes, I can now admit it. I forget almost everything, big and small things (at least I don't discriminate?). And the only reason why I can admit this now is because I "totally forgot" I had this blog. Whoops!
"Totally Forgot" is a phrase that my friends have heard all too often and a friend in high school used to make fun of me for it. Well, I'm sure she's glad to see I'm still "totally forgetting" to do things, on a regular basis.
I haven't a clue as to when my last post was, but absolutely nothing has happened since then... (And now I've just insulted my friends who have had engagements, weddings and bachelorette parties; Jesus Christ; and even myself). So here's a quick catchup on each month assuming my last post was in August...
August: Crazy travel sched.; 3L year started...waaaa!
September: Key West, Bachelorette; Plantation, Best Friend's Wedding (killed it with my MOH speech but not so much on my well wishes thru their wedding video...I may have "totally forgot" they were going to Hawaii for their honeymoon and wished them fun in Jamaica. Oops!)
October: Fall Break to nowhere...exciting
November: Family visit; Thanksgiving in Chicago; no snow
December: Exams (barf); home for the Holidays; weekend in Vero Beach; weekend in Jacksonville; JC had a Birthday (Christmas); no snow
January: Out til 5am on New Years with my sorority sister; LAST SEMESTER of Law School; no snow
February: Weekend in Chicago with my bestie from law school; 2" of lousy snow that melted in 16hrs.
Okay! Yeah, wow. What an eventful few months.
(As you can see I have a preoccupation with winter precipitation levels. I moved to the "North" for snow and I got 2 lousy inches this year. My kindergarten class trucked in more snow for a fake snow day in SOUTH FLORIDA than naturally fell in St. Louis this year. LAAAME! )
Now that basically catches y'all up to today. I'm going to leave MARCH out so that I can write about this month later...
I'm currently at my parent's home in Florida for the second half of my last Spring Break everrrr! My beautiful mother turns 50 next week, so my father has planned a BIG birthday party for her tomorrow, on St. Paddy's Day!
Since I know y'all have been religiously checking this blog for months and have been crushed each time you see there is no sign of life, I promise to try to get better about writing on this thing...I remember it was therapeutic to write about how utterly ridiculous I can be, so let's see if I don't "totally forget" that.
